 | The CottageThis charming spacious cottage has all you need for a get away from it all holiday,with its open beams, oak staircase and window seats over looking the surrounding countryside. The cottage has an old world charm at the same time having all the comforts of a modern home. There are 2 bedrooms sleeping 4 comfortably and a sofa bed sleeping a further 2 if needed. It is located in the peaceful village of Villepail, which offers a well stocked fishing lake, boules pitch and lots of great walks. Villepail is a haven for wild life as the village sits in a valley with rolling pasture and farm lands on one side and ancient woodland on the other.We often see birds of prey soaring overhead, and lizards sunning themselves by the stone walls. |
The GardenWe have a large vegetable plot, Orchard and wildflower meadow. We offer fruit and vegetables (grown organically) when available and in the growing season. If you book a weeks holiday with us in June, July or August you may receive a complimentary mixed vegetable/fruit box from us. |  |
The Ground Floor Kitchen: A light and airy room with the double sink overlooking the garden with great views. It is very well equipped with every thing you need including a fridge/freezer, microwave, coffee machine,washing machine and 5 ring gas hob and oven. The dining table sits 4 but there are more chairs if needed. There is a generous 4 seater L shaped sofa (to be converted to a double bed if required) in front of the DVD player and screen with ample lighting throughout. There are windows to the front and rear offering stunning views over the garden and surrounding countryside. We also have a reading corner with books and games for young and old. There is also a cupboard with iron and ironing board, clothes airer and vaccum cleaner. The Upper Floor Main bedroom: A large light room with a double bed, wardrobe bedside cabinets and lamps and a full length mirror. Twin room: A light room with a large velux window offering brilliant views. 2 single beds 2 chest of draws and hanging rail. There are also storage cupboards for your suitcases. Shower room: A very spacious room with w.c , shower and hand basin. Additional information: We supply all bedding , linen, towels and tea towels. There is a welcome pack of tea, coffee, milk and sugar.
